Students are encouraged to take advantage of the numerous activities and opportunities which make the School distinctive, whilst being expected to study hard and focus carefully on their academic studies at the same time.
As well as offering traditional academic subjects to A-level, the school also caters for girls who wish to pursue alternative career routes. They may take a variety of qualifications to a high level in riding, musical theatre and dance by being able to study these alongside their core academic subjects without negatively influencing any future career plans.
The school is fortunate to have its own on-site Equestrian Centre which provides world-class facilities including a floodlit outdoor ménage, indoor school and stabling. Both the beginner and the experienced rider can take advantage of the Centre’s many opportunities. Girls can either bring their own ponies or ride one of the School’s. Under the authority of highly qualified instructors, riders can study for the British Horse Society (BHS) qualifications.

Music and sport are also key features within the School. Abbots Bromley provides world-class sporting facilities for aspiring sportswomen, such as a sports hall that includes an all-weather hockey pitch, a fitness suite, and a heated indoor swimming pool.
All girls are encouraged to participate in musical activities. On an individual level, pupils can join the school’s highly praised choirs, orchestra and band or learn another instrument. With an experienced and specialist team of musicians, pupils’ varied talents are able to be explored and honed.
