Cambridge School Of Visual And Performing Arts (CSVPA)
Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts was founded in 1985 as a specialist foundation school. It provides stimulating study programmes and pathways in Art & Design, Drama and Music. The School has developed the skills of some of the most talented individuals in the world and helped them progress to some of the most renowned Art & Design schools and drama schools, as well as elite music conservatoires. CSVPA’s portfolio has developed to include degree and pre-master’s programmes for both British and international students.
The Cambridge Approach
A highly personalised approach to creative learning enables students to reach their goals and fulfil their potential. Compared with the majority of universities, class sizes are small. Teaching takes place each weekday and students are afforded the luxury of personal contact with their lecturer every day. The College’s environment is creative, relaxed and culturally diverse and students enjoy coming in to work, see tutors or talk with friends.
CSVPA programmes include links with some of the UK’s most prestigious institutions:
University of the Arts London (UAL)
Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA)
CSVPA is open every day for twelve hours, and a state-of-the-art learning environment and designated work space is guaranteed to all newcomers. They will also have access to digital media and mac suites, sound recording studios, photographic darkrooms, as well as tailored studio areas for fashion, life drawing, fine art, casting, photography, graphics and illustration, make up, craft, textiles, music and drama.
A total of 30 high-quality and comfortable residences are available for all years of study in safe and attractive surroundings either a short stroll or a convenient bus ride away from the College.
A range of living spaces for different age groups and budgets are available, varying from single, en-suite and twin.
