Boarding life and activities

Boarders delight in using all the facilities on site, including an indoor swimming pool, while a busy weekend schedule, including visits to London and Cambridge and excursions to local tourist hotspots, is guaranteed to newcomers. Other activities include bowling, ice skating, cinema, theatre, shopping and swimming. School trips overseas are common.
Beyond the classroom
Extracurricular activities include the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme – Bronze, Silver and Gold; Sport Leaders’ Award; drama – with an annual production; music groups; sports clubs – including kayaking, badminton and tae kwon do; art club; book club; green club; and public speaking club.
