All students are nurtured and guided in their work and play. Sixth Form boarders have the luxury of their own study rooms, and are thus prepared for the independence required at university. A broad range of extracurricular activities including sporting clubs and fixtures, music lessons, drama and debating.

Boarding from age eight

New boarders are warmly welcomed by the School and join what is, essentially, an extended family where children really do make friends for life. Boarding life is exciting, with a variety of weekend activities available. Pastoral care at The Park is outstanding, with staff making use of their wealth of experience to care for children from the UK and around the world.

‘No matter what the problem is, everyone is there just waiting to give you some help if you need it.’

Curriculum

Park School’s aim is to nurture the full potential of each child, achieving success through inspiring teaching and the encouragement of individual talents. Children also benefit from a broad, balanced academic curriculum where it is possible to organise an individual one-year programme over a limited number of subjects at GCSE. In a genuinely supportive and friendly Sixth Form, specialist teachers deliver a wide range of subject options. Park School not only strives for its students’ academic success, but also in the arts and sport. It has nurtured seven National Champions in recent years in sports including basketball, athletics, swimming and hockey.

‘Our hopes and expectations have been far exceeded.’
