Children have moved on to Harrow, King’s Canterbury, Lancing, Ampleforth, Benenden, Eton and Stowe. The school boasts a science and technology building which houses modern science laboratories, an ICT suite and a craft room. Also available to pupils are a library, a modelling room, an art room and a music wing. Sports facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, tennis courts, squash courts, a .22 shooting range and separate recreation rooms. There is also a large sports hall and team games offered include association, football, rugby, hockey, netball and rounders. Tuition is also available in swimming, fencing, golf, tennis and squash. At Wellesley, children learn to appreciate and develop a sense of teamwork by engaging in sport, drama and music. In the past, Wellesley sailors have won the silver division at the national IAPS Regatta at Weymouth, the girls’ rounders team have been JETS winners and finalists in previous years, and the first XI cricket team have been JET champions many times over. The chapel choir is well-known and has performed in churches in several European countries.
