Learning is exciting
Wrekin’s hallmark is its commitment to making learning exciting by providing excellent and inspiring teaching and stimulating intellectual curiosity. We have a strong academic record, Alps ranked in the top 6% nationally for added value at A-level. The School is guided by the principle of helping each and every child achieve their full potential, preparing them for the competitive world ahead of them, and giving them a lifelong belief in the joy and value of learning.
The Sixth Form is an integral and unique part of the school. Wrekin offers an intellectual and social environment more reminiscent of a university by integrating the best aspects of its traditional boarding ethos with an all-encompassing enrichment programme to create a new and unique Sixth Form. Wrekin has recently started its own Business School in order to allow pupils to immerse themselves in the world of business. The Business School is assisted by real companies and entrepreneurs, thus providing a practical dimension to pupils’ academic endeavours.
