My first introduction to Britannia Study was when Kirsty Wong visited Woldingham School. It was an excellent beginning to a thoroughly warm and professional relationship as I felt that Kirsty completely understand our School’s ethos and offerings to the international student. From then onwards, I have received numerous well suited introductions and registrations with many successful applicants. Since then I have met with other Britannia Study consultants and have been suitably impressed with their knowledge of the British education system and support for me and Woldingham School. I have nothing but praise for this extremely efficient education consultancy agency and would recommend parents and students without hesitation.

I have been impressed by the professional level of service offered by Britannia. They have taken care to gain a good working knowledge of the school by visiting us and by accompanying prospective pupils on their visits. They give comprehensive references for their students which enables them to be placed with the most appropriate school. This a great advantage both to the schools and the students. There is always a vey high level of communication between us which facilitates placing of candidates.
Britannia haven proven themselves to be fantastic agents over the past academic year. Nothing has been too much trouble for them to arrange. They helped us with finding a venue for auditions last Spring and also identified musically talented pupils to attend the meetings. As a result of these meetings we were able to encourage some very high calibre musicians to apply for Music Scholarships at Oundle School. Outside of this music focused activity, they have been wonderfully efficient at getting prospective pupils to sit the UKiset for us and have been really organised in dealing with the large number of applications we have received from them. I have been very impressed by the academic strength of the pupils they have recommended to us. This I think is due to the knowledge and expertise shared in the office. Not only Samuel Chan but also the other staff in his office have first-hand experience of UK boarding as they too attended boarding school. In addition to the their knowledge of UK boarding, the staff at Britannia have excellent English communication skills which is very appreciated in a busy Admissions office. We understand them and they fully understand us. Emails are efficiently exchanged and we know that they understand the subtleties and nuance of verbal communication. Finally and perhaps most importantly, Britannia and Oundle have exchanged several visits, in the UK and Hong Kong which has allowed us to develop an excellent working relationship.
Applying to Sevenoaks School was by no means an easy task. I hoped to get in but at first I did not believe I could get in. Ukiset helps by assessing my abilities in basic skills, and is very convenient as the results can be sent to several schools at once so you do not have to take three or four different tests. Britannia StudyLink gives an extensive follow-up of the school and arranged visits for me. Applying late, Britannia StudyLink assures me that I can still get into a great school.
I was introduced to Britannia Studylink and immediately received the attention and helpful guidance that had been distinctly lacking from other consultancies. Britannia provided friendly and effective consultancy services of the highest quality – they were professional and experienced and helped me pull the entire application process up to success. Excellent consulting with great care in making every decision – all my enquiries were promptly dealt with and their help in making my applications was superb. Not only did Samuel and Kirsty know an incredible amount about the strengths of different schools in the UK, but they also paid particular attention to my aptitude and endeavors to help me find the right ‘fit’. Overall, I was very pleased with the services provided by Britannia Studylink and I would definitely recommend them!
At Oundle School we do more experiments in science lessons and more free thinking. The teachers use fewer text books in class which makes lessons more interesting. My mother, like so many people in Hong Kong, thought that fewer rules would mean less discipline, but the truth is the opposite. Teenagers will rebel when there are too many rules. Here, there are rules but there is also more freedom. Teachers still control the students, but they are more encouraging and allow them more opportunity to discuss and develop opinions with each other. We have more free time to cultivate our hobbies or to learn from reading books and we have a healthier lifestyle as we play more sports, instead of video games. There is more outdoor space in Oundle than we have in Hong Kong, so we are able to play lots of different sports. Teachers here in Oundle think that we should have a balanced lifestyle. They think that in order to study better, rest is important and they won’t push you as hard as they do in Hong Kong. I find that this means I have time to absorb information given to me in lessons, so I don’t need to spend extra time in tutorial classes. There are not so many exams here in Oundle, so parents can’t constantly compare us with our classmates. This means that I like school life much more and I work more independently.
When students first enter the campus, senior boys would help to transfer their luggage. Teachers, extremely nice and caring, would lead a tour for new students and parents to explore the campus.
Cardiff Sixth Form College is more than just the top sixth form college in the UK; it is the place where I was able to grow in person and develop my academic interest with the assistance of enthusiastic teachers; it is a place where I learned more than just knowledge, but also how to be a better person. Having been to Imperial College London and NASA’s Johnson Space Centre in Houston, TX, for the International Space Settlement Design Competition, I have had the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the brightest engineers of our generation. The intense setting of the competition has led myself to develop a constantly improving working model, to always find better solutions to problems, no matter how difficult it may seem. It is these super-curricular activities that CSFC provided, made me stood out from other university candidates. I had never been involved in debating before studying abroad. Mrs Sarwar asked me to give it a try – and I loved it. From the Debating Matters to European Youth Parliament, from qualifying rounds to national finals, I have gained invaluable experience and knowledge each step through preparing and debating, and deeply bonded with my follow debaters. The school has given me numerous opportunities to try new things, things I can learn from, and things I will be able to draw upon in University and my life.
The work experience the college provides is excellent. Throughout my AS year, I have shadowed healthcare professionals in many different settings – from clinics to hospitals. These experiences are truly inspiring. Cardiff Sixth Form College provides me with the greatest support, to help me reach my full potential. I have had the opportunity to take part in various extra-curricular activities, including the European Youth Parliament, Model United Nations and Young Enterprise. Through these I have had numerous opportunities to enrich my life and broaden my horizons. These 2 years of college life have been very exciting and fruitful. I would recommend Cardiff Sixth Form College without hesitation!
Hi Everyone! Life here in Cardiff is awesome, I have met loads of friends here. The new school enviroment is mesmerisingly good, rich in resources for students to study, have a variety of events, eg. cultural event, going to gym (David Lloyd’s). Thanks for all those arrangements, exams and interviews that you awesome guys have prepared for me. Thanks for the help and also answering some of my silly questions! Without you guys, I could never study in CSFC ! Thank you very much!
Britannia selected schools for me based on my strength, personality and career choice, they custom made a study path by personal need. Their indepth analysis helped me find the best suitable school, which did in fact turn out to be my Dream School! I successfully got a place at Cardiff Sixth Form College, a very important step in my life, and I am very thankful to be attending such a top quality school. When I was at the planning stage, I have been rather lost, there were plenty of tests, application procedures and of course the stress that could come “after you have arrived”. Luckily I had Mabel to assist me through these tough period, she was patient and very willing to answer my questions, this is one of the key reason why I succeeded in gaining a place at my favrouite school. To conclude, I am very thankful to Britannia for your help, you guys have made my study abroad journey a very pleasant one, I wish you and your company every success.
To prepare us for university, the college does not only ensure we obtain the top grades, but moulds us into fully rounded candidates through excellent work experience opportunities. I have had the opportunity to undertake work experience in the Crown Court and a solicitors’ firm, which has enabled me to gain insight of my chosen career. I have never felt so determined to achieve my goals and so confident in my future. I have had valuable and eye opening experiences and wish to share it with more people! I sincerely recommend CSFC to all students who have passion and are willing to work hard for their future and their dreams.
I attended a seminar about Cardiff Sixth Form College organised by Britannia and found it to be most informative and useful. I have some concerns about sending my child to the UK because I know very little about the UK education system and the boarding school scene. Mabel, one of Britannia’s agents, helped us with a great deal of care and sincerity, and she answered all of my questions in detail, clearly and very promptly. In comparison with other education consultancies, I have found Britannia to be far more caring and respectful towards its clients. They are interested in every move my child makes and have follow-up measures in place, so this does relieve a lot of stress. I am extremely satisfied with Britannia’s service.
Hi, my name is Carol Lam and through the process of looking for professional advice and evaluation analysis for my son Nixon – to be used to apply for college admission in the United Kingdom; I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Samuel Chan of Britannia Study Link. After my first meeting with Samuel; he proved to us his professional skills and know-how by advising us right from the start, answering our questions and solving any other kinds of our doubts, finding the best match between Nixon’s interests and the most suitable programme for him, and ultimately going through the entire college application process leading to his success. Samuel was a great help with all other logistics, from the acceptance of the college, how to get the visa, how to get accommodation and all other miscellaneous factors. The expertise of Samuel provided us the best support to achieve Nixon’s goal in an easy and friendly way. Thanks to him, my son was admitted to Epsom College which coincidentally was Nixon’s first choices. We highly recommend his services widely to every parent who wishes to send his child aboard for further study as we believe Samuel can help you as well.
Grateful for Britannia-Study’s service with which Arthur managed to make Epsom College which otherwise he could not. UKiset has been instrumental in my son’s search for the ideal high school study in England. Being the common standard adopted by participating schools, UKiset has saved us lots of time and energy otherwise devoted in sitting multiple entrance examinations.
I got to know Britannia through the new UKiset testing system, I registered the test early on in the year to have my son tested, we set our sights on several top british boarding schools. While my son was taking the test, I got to know Carson from Britannia, I find him to be very knowledgable and patient, he was able to answer to many of my questions, and I am very pleased with his service. My son, luckily got into his dream school, Oundle School.
Samuel at Britannia Study Link has been most helpful in advising on my children’s UK schools application process, he has great insight and knowledge with a wide range of schools, superb relationships within the industry. Samuel also makes my children at ease and open up to him when discussing their likes and dislikes, it has made the application process and school visits very smooth, and most importantly, Samuel was able to help us find the school that fit each of our child best!
Many thanks to the team at Britannia-StudyLink in helping Tiffany go through the hurdles of applying to a boarding school she desires. She finally got into Badminton School. Thanks to Samuel, who assured Tiffany of her strengths as a learner and gave us good advice at our first meeting, after which we were able to select three most favoured schools for applications. We are also grateful to Kirsty for her enthusiasm and patience in offering help with application details and answeing all our questions promtly. Thanks also goes to Mable ,who looked after Tiffany when she needed to take all the entrance tests on weekdays evening and have skype interview with Badminton’s Headmistress at the center. Though Britannia is a relatively young center, the team have worked tremendously hard to provide professional services to young people with dreams about the future. We hope they will continue to support students and parents with their expertise and passion. We wish them very success in the years to come !
